What is required?

• Experience in a similar role and/or working with children and young people.
• A caring nature, a natural affinity with children and a a mature and responsible attitude.
• A passion for the Performing Arts and working with children and young people aged 6-8 years in Dance, Drama and Singing.
• Reliable, punctual, organised and committed team player.
• A passion for excellent customer service
• Ability to HAVE FUN!

What is involved?

• Supporting the teacher with delivering the week Dance, Drama and Singing classes.
• Supporting children in the class who may need extra support and working with groups of children.
• Maintaining a head count of children and chaperoning children round the building.
• Upholding the health and safety of the classroom/studio space.
• Attending team meetings and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term.
• Supporting with external events and our Easter and Summer schools as necessary.

Razzamataz Theatre Schools are committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check (DBS) and references.

Job type: Part-time – Saturday’s during term time with occasional hours outside of contracted hours. Post holder must be willing to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays as is necessary for the business.

Renumeration: Competitive rates dependent on qualifications and experience.

We are on the lookout for an inspiring, hard-working individual with a passion for delivering high quality performing arts tuition to join our team and must-award winning school to teach Dance, Drama and Singing to ages 2- 8 years, from May 2024.

Where: Our classes run from The Whitehaven Academy in Whitehaven.

What is required?

• Experience teaching and/or working with children and young people
• A caring nature, a natural affinity with children and a mature and responsible attitude.
• A passion for teaching performing arts to children aged 2-8 years.
• Aptitude for creating and coordinating fresh, innovative material for termly presentations, public performances and our annual showcase.
• Relatable, punctual, organised and committed team player.
• A passion for excellent customer service
• Ability to HAVE FUN!

What is involved?

• Weekly lesson planning.
• Delivering awesome classes and coordinating Dance, Drama and Singing pieces for shows and presentations.
• Attending team meetings and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term.
• Supporting with our Easter and Summer schools as appropriate.
• Providing weekly feedback on classes and progress of students to the Principal.
